Japan Youth Summit 2026 has officially opened its registration, marking the beginning of one of next year’s most anticipated international gatherings for young leaders. Organized by the Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) Foundation, this third edition invites students, aspiring innovators, and changemakers to Osaka for a transformative experience centered on collaboration, creativity, and sustainable development.
Designed around the theme “Innovation Beyond Borders: Building the Future through Collaboration,” the summit serves as a global platform where youth from diverse backgrounds come together to address major global challenges. Participants will explore cutting-edge ideas in sustainability, technology, and community development while building long-lasting international networks.
A Global Innovation Platform Rooted in the SDGs
At the core of the summit is the Innovation & Technology Project Competition, where delegates work in multicultural teams to design impactful solutions aligned with key UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- SDG 4: Quality Education
- SDG 8: Inclusive Economic Development
- SDG 9: Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure
- SDG 11: Sustainable Cities & Communities
- SDG 13: Climate Action
Participants are grouped based on their chosen SDG focus, allowing them to collaborate with peers from different cultures and disciplines. This structure strengthens essential leadership skills such as problem-solving, innovation, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork — competencies increasingly valued in today’s global job market.
