The Hoogenboom Scholarship Programme 2026 is a fully funded postgraduate scholarship designed to empower women from Sub-Saharan Africa to pursue world-class education in environmental sustainability and planetary health at Heriot-Watt University in Scotland, UK.

Funded by a €1.5 million commitment from The Orchard Foundation, the programme offers immediate life-changing support by covering tuition, living costs, visas, health insurance, mentorship, and leadership development for selected candidates.

Who Is Eligible?

Women from Kenya, Zambia, South Africa, Botswana, and Malawi are prioritised for this scholarship. Applicants should hold a relevant undergraduate degree and show a strong commitment to making an impact in sustainability sectors.
